SUMMARY:{Workshop} Incarnational Hermeneutic: The Interpretive Task of a CiM
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is focused on Chapter 2 of See.Do.Be.Free.: A Field Guide for Becoming a Community in Mission.  \nIn this workshop\, we will focus on the Incarnational Hermeneutic: the interpretive task of a Community in Mission. We will explore Jesus’ way of interpreting reality – his way of seeing God\, reading Scripture and making sense of life itself – especially with those who have suffered. We often refer to this as “doing theology from below.” It reveals the Good News of God’s solidarity with the scapegoated victims of history. \nThis workshop is an important conversation for those who want to create cities of peace for all people as modeled by Jesus.  \nWe will be joined by guest speaker Peter Choi. Peter is the Executive Director of the Center for Faith and Justice and a pastor in San Francisco\, California.
